delay in dependant Visa processing

Hi,
We lodged Visa applications to Sri lankan vis office under Tier 5 government authorised exchange scheme my wife being the primary applicant and me being the dependant. We lodged applications together and they accepted applications together too. but they have granted visas for my wife and returned her passport togethre with all supporting documents.
I am clueless about the status of my application.
Any idea why is it ?

Yes I did contact them. But they dont give a firm answer. Instead they says its still under process
