Depedant visa - Accomodation

Post by saminkhan » Tue Dec 29, 2009 9:57 pm

Hi,

I am currently on HSMP and planning to get married in Pakistan in the next few months time. I have gone through the posts about dependant visa but the accomodation requirement is quite confusing and it will be really helpful if you could help me out with that.

I am living in a two bed house which i share with two other people. I can move into a seperate house now but finding something appropriate and arranging for the move espeically when i am planning for the wedding and may not need that accomodation for another few months is not something which i want to do if its not required. My questions are:

Is there any requirement to provide evidence of accomodation with the dependant visa application?
Has anyone's application been rejected on the basis of inediquate accomodation.
If its needs to be done, what sort of evidence is required.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Regards

Samin

Is the current accommodation adequate?

Hello
i am in a similar position. taking the advice of this forum i am showing my rental docs which i share with 2 oother people. its a 4 double bedroom house. i can get NOC from landlord and others in my house.

But the number of bedrooms is not mentioned on the contract. would someone who has got visa or is applying for dependant visa can clarify on this please ? could you please check your documents to see if it has been mentioned about the bedroom numbers ?

Thanks

I know that the current accomodation is not adequate when i compare it with these adequate accomodation guidelines but there is no mention of suitable accomodation in the HSMP dependant guidelines.

Anyone who didnt provide any info on the accomodation for the application and got the visa?
