Dependancy Visa extention - Urgent advice required please.

Hi!
I wonder if you can help me regarding my situation. I came here in the UK in September 2005 with a Work Permit Dependant from my husband (Philippine National). And my visa is due to expire in October 2009 and we are no longer living together. When I spoke to my husband about extending my visa he said he is willing to help and sign any application that is necessary.
As were helping each other sending money home to our children. And obviously he couldn’t afford to send money on his own.

We are both Filipino and he just recently applied for his Residency.

He now lives with his second family and I have a permanent job with the NHS as a Health Care Assistant. Is there a possibility to extend my visa or apply for a Residency even though we don’t live together anymore.

Can you please advise me on what kind of options are open to me as I don’t really wish to pay for an expensive solicitor.

I appreciate any advice that you can provide me with.

If your marriage no longer subsists and you are not living with your husband, it would be illegal to obtain further leave to remain as his dependant.
