Dependant application

Hi

I am applying for Tier 1 visa from India.

I want to apply for my visa first, and once i get that, i will apply for my dependant ( wife and kid).

Q1- Will i have to travel to UK before applying for there visa, because the dependant application form has questions like job of main applicantt etc

Q2- In part 5a of the form, Is your partner accompaning you or joining you later? Is it ok if I select NO. Will it affect there dependant application

Q3- for a similar question on child, can i select no.
