Post by golu » Sun Apr 24, 2011 2:01 pm

hi,

I wanted to know what happens if dependant has driving offense registered against her name ? My mate is main applicant and due for ILR and has clean record, but his wife has a traffic offense registered against her ? how does this affect their application ?

thanks,

If she had just received a Fixed Penalty Notice, then she should be fine. Else, she cannot apply for ILR until her criminal record is considered as spent.

Leave to remain as spouse of settled person (FLR(M)).
