Dependant Tier 1 Visa rejected

Post by poorana.shankaran » Mon Jul 06, 2009 1:29 pm

Hi All,

Im residing at the UK for the past 8 months on dependant visa of my husbands work permit which is valid till 17 July 2012. Recently my husband got his hsmp tier 1 visa which supersedes the earlier work permit granted to him. So I applied for dependant Tier 1 visa which got reject stating the reason 'Failed to provide evidence that you have been in possession of 533 pounds for 3 months period prior to the date of application.' However they have stated that my current visa status holds good til 17 July 2012. Also they have mentioned that I do not have the right to appeal as my current visa is valid.

My concern is inspite of having sufficient funds they have rejected my visa. So is it possible to request them to review my documents again?

Also my other concern which worries me is what if my husbands work permit gets cancelled due to some reason, will it alter my visa status?

Can anyone please advise on how to get this issue resolved?

Thanks
Poorana
