Dependant Visa Application

Post by rajtka » Mon Jun 07, 2010 1:50 pm

Good day everyone,
I am planning to apply for Tier 1 Highly Skill visa but before I do that I just want to enquire if :

- I should apply the dependant visa together with the Main applicant or separate?

- And what are the pros and cons?

Thank you very much.

Raj

Hello
I applied for myself first and after I got my visa I applied for my husband.
Advantage is if any issues arises and your visa gets rejected you will not lose around 1 Lakh.
If you are 100% sure of documentation then you can apply together. It will save time.
Otherwise I have usually seen everyone advising two apply for the main applicant first and then later for dependent.

You can apply together or seperately. There is not restriction on that.

The only con if you apply together is that if your application gets rejected your wife's visa also gets automatically rejected and you loose your's wife's visa fees as well.
