Dependant VISA Tier 2 ICT EST - Documents, advice pls

Post by jlj » Tue Sep 27, 2011 12:38 pm

So after trawling the forums and trying to make sense of the cryptic and conflicting documentation on UKBA, my wife is going to put in an application for dependancy with the following documents:

Bank statements. Can we use the statements sent by the bank? I have ordered the statements from NatWest. Will I still be required to get the bank to write a letter and stamp it?
Wifes accounts are with HSBC UK and between the two of us have a balance greater then 2000 for the last three months.

Letter from employer stating confirming employment and pay. Length of work and their Sponsor number.

Payslips, these are computer generated from a payroll software. I have asked the payroll officer to stamp it. Is not on company letterhead. Also I get paid by a third party, so I'm not sure if its worth asking them to add their contact details.

Copies of P60 the last three years.
Tax self assessment from HMRC for 2007/2008 and 2009/2010. Have not lodged this years.

Council Tax and Credit Card bill for proof of address.

If any knowledgeable punters can advice if these documents are correct and will meet the criteria or if more is required, I would be very much obliged.
Thank you in advance.

Jon

You are over-egging the pudding with lots of unnecessary paperwork but that won't have any negative impact. However, I do wonder if, when the ECO starts rummaging through this pile of papers, he inadvertently overlooks your marriage certificate, which you have not mentioned in your post.

Thanks mate, that would definitely make the application more complicated. :)

add to the mix,
marriage certificate - lewisham council registra
photos... not sure what else goes into proving relationship bit.

bit of background, missus is also here on a tier 2 work permit which she is now cancelling and coming on to my visa.

I'm just worried about the bank statements and pay slips.
Will bank statements sent by the bank be sufficient? Or do I need to also get them to write a letter to accompany it?
And will printed out payslips stamped by pay roll dept be ok?

And you are aware that she has to leave the UK and make that application from her home country?

yup, funnily enough, our last call to the UKBA enquiry line, some muppet told us we could apply within the country even after we explained our circumstances.
