Can my dependant (legal wife) work in the UK on a Student Dependant visa (w.r.t 31st march 2009 and later) ??

I searched the UK border as well as ukvisa websites I couldn't get much info on WORKING FEASIBILITIES FOR a STUDENT DEPENDANT.
