Dependants for ILR application

Hello people,

I am applying for ILR in the next week, however I came to know today that i cannot be apply my wife as a dependant because she is not in UK for 2 years as my dependant (though she was in the UK for more than 3 years)

Her current visa as my dependant is valid until Jan 2013 so does it mean that she doesnt have to apply for FLR or any other visa and apply for settlement when she completes 2 years as dependant??

It appears that FLR(M) is required.
