Dependants questions

Post by nmm » Mon Sep 07, 2009 11:01 pm

Hi,

Can anyone who already applied for Tier1 & got visa can guide about these queries:

1. What documents are required for the dependents?
2. Do we need to translate marriage certificate from UK if we already got its translation from Pakistan.
3. PBS Dependent form question B5, what document should we submit for name change of wife after marriage.

Thanks

1.Marriage Certificate,Accomodation document(if dependents are not in UK), passport, photographs and maintenance funds (for dependents).
2.Advisable. You should translate documents by BHC approved translated in your home country. Or else get translation in UK. I would advice to get translation in UK, as it is easier for case worker to verify the translation.
3.Marriage Certificate should be sufficient. I submitted only marriage certificate with changed name in passport, which was accepted.

Depends on where you are based. If you are in London Atlas Translators(near Covent Garden tube station) is good but costly. Whoever you choose, make sure it has proper affiliation.
Other than that Google always helps :-)
