Dependants of Tier 1 main applicants

Hi,

I am on work permit since May 2007. My wife is on dependant work permit. I am now applying for Tier 1 General. In the dependant form I have a query

Since I am over 12 months period I need to check the second option in Question J1 and go to Question J3.

In question J3 :

J3. Please provide evidence that the dependant has access to available funds in order to support themselves. Funds may be in the name of the dependant or the main applicant. Please tick the relevant box(es) to indicate the evidence supplied:
Personal bank or building society statements covering a 3 month period
Building society pass book
Letter from bank or building society confirming funds and that they have been banked for at least 3 months
Letter from a financial institution regulated by either the Financial Services Authority or, in the case of overseas accounts, the home regulator (official regulatory body for the country in which the institution operates and the funds are located) confirming funds and covering a three month period.

After question J3 next question is J4. No where after question J3 its mentioned where to navigate. Hence question J4 is to be filled afer J3.

After reading J4 I understand that it is not applicable in my case. Question J4 is for Maintenance certified by the sponsor.

My wife is staying with me and I dont need to send any sponsor letter for her visa.

Please advice

what should be filled in for J4?

Will that be fine if I leave it blank?

For Dependents Maintenance funds.. tick one of the following docs which u r supplying in J3
1. Personal bank or building society statements covering a 3 month period
OR
2. Letter from bank or building society confirming funds and that they have been bankedfor at least 3 months
c. And you can ignore J4 and move a head.. don’t need to worry abt it..
