Hello, I am slightly confused.
The grounds for issue of EEA Family Permit is a factual dependency, i.e. financial and emotional. This is a very straightforward case for spouses and children, but may also be applied to direct family members (e.g. parents). Now. After entry into UK, I find no mention in EEA 2006 regulation of requirements for direct family members to be living in the same household as the EEA sponsor (as in case of extended family members). Neither do I identify the requirement for factual financial dependence of direct family members on the sponsor post UK entry.
Given that an EEA sponsor can be single, his/her parents can reside with the sponsor. What happens when and if the sponsor marries and would require his/her own space? Also, given that direct family members are entitled and obtain permission to work, how do these two factors affect dependency of direct family members and ultimately, how does it impact their possible permanent residence applications in the future?
Thank you to clarify this point
