Dependent Visa Form and Funds

Post by Immigrant06 » Fri Apr 30, 2010 11:08 am

Hi experts

I entered HSMP program in 2006 before December 2006 changes came into affect. Then I got tier 1 in 2008 as extension. I have to apply visa for my wife and have the following queries:

1) Which form I should use?

2) Do I need to have minimum 1600 (800 each as manitenance of funds) pounds per month for last three months or it is not required?

3) Is it required that my wife should pass IELTS?

Thanks and best regards

My first question will be is this her first attempt to get a dependant visa? if yes...check this link. Maintenance und requirements are shown in the form as well as in the guidelines in the link above.

3) Is it required that my wife should pass IELTS? Not requiredas she is not the main applicant

Based on UKVisas website...the £690 is for the main applicant and since you are already here in the UK, the valid fee is £270 per dependant.

good luck.

PS> pls don't hijack someone else post as it tend deviate from the original question of the first OP.

Dear Markie

Thank you very much.

1) Form in the link is PBS but I am entered before PBS started in Dec 2006. And I also got extension in 2008 as per judiucial review without PBS. Do my wife still need to use the form present in the link?

2) Actually in March, the funds in my account went up to £300 for some days. Should I maintain the funds first and then apply late to show £533 per month?

3) Clear for me
