Dependent Visa - Indian Bank Statements

Post by AlfredNair » Mon Dec 27, 2010 12:22 pm

Hi,

I have been in the UK for more than 2 years on Tier 2 ICT. I am now applying for my spouses dependant visa.

Unfortunately my UK Bank Account shows balance of less than 533 punds for a couple of weeks.

I would be applying for her Visa from India. And my Bank account in India consistently shows over Rs 1 lac for over 3 months.

My questions are
1. Can my India bank account statement be used as proof of funds during the application?
2. If it can would I still need to submit my UK Bank statements for any other purpose?

Thank you.
