Dependent work in UK with an Indian company payroll

My wife have UK tier2 visa and is sponsored by the company in Tier 2. I have Tier 2 dependent work visa. Presently I am working in an Indian company. Can I work for my Indian company in UK with the dependent Visa being sponsored by my wife's company. Is it legal, that I work for this company in UK but by a visa sponsored by other company. Do I need to pay tax for this stay in UK?

There is no restriction as to where you can work as a PBS dependant.
Your employer will deduct tax under PAYE.

Thanks Manci, But he is in Indian payroll and he is getting Indian salary.

After 183 days he will be tax resident in the UK and liable for UK tax subject to any DTA between UK and India.
