'No of dependents' on the visa stamp

Post by vivekspa » Tue Jan 25, 2011 7:25 pm

Is spouse not counted as a dependent? My visa shows 'No of dependents' as 0 even though my wife's visa was stamped and approved with mine.

That's perfectly fine. No of dependents refers to the number of dependents travelling on the same passport (which doesn't happen any more I believe - all children have their own passports now).
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.
