Dependents EC..where to apply

Hi,
I got my EC from Mumbai,India. And currently my spouse is in Hyderabad. She is planning to apply for EC soon. Can she apply from Hyderabad, India or She has to apply to the same consulate office from where I got, Mumbai, India.

Please let me know.
