Did not declare CCJ

Hi , I applied for BC in March I had a caution from 2011 which I declared .

I’ve juts checked my credit report and noticed I have two ccj on my name, I did not declare this on my application for as I didn’t know I had these two ccj. Now I’m worried I’m going to get refused. :( .

Has any not declared there’s and still granted BC

Q17 - I have a CCJ will this cause a refusal?

A CCJ is not a ground on its own to refuse the application. However, the fact that you have a CCJ may be evidence that you are deliberately and recklessly building up debts with no intention of paying them back which, is a grounds for refusal. Therefore, if you have a CCJ you should include evidence that you are making repayments or that the CCJ has been paid/settled.

Why don't you send HO a letter (including your application reference) stating that you did not declare your CCJ and provide details of how you are paying/ settled.

I was so worried yesterday , but guess what I got my approval letter yesterday .


Am so happy, this forum really helped my nerves.

I was forgot to mention police caution was in 2009.
I ask immigration barrister about this caution he told me after 2 years it's delete from system. Police also inform on 2009 we keep this in our records for Next 2 years. If you do same mistake again then have a problem. Other way you don't need to worry.

Caution was: Car insurance was fully paid for the year but one silly information was not change.

I apply on March 2018. Do you think I've to mention asap. I know this caution not stop my approval but if they find I'm not mention will be a big issue? 10 years band as well?

Advice require please

You should mention it as they asked. They might get you on failing to disclose it and ban you for 10 yrs.

Is it mandatory to attend a interview when applying for first British passport ?

I didn’t apply for my passport at the same time when I was doing my application, silly me I didn’t know you could of done that.

Is that in issue? Still they thought I'm trying to hide.
How I can deal with this?
Any body have previous experience?
Caution was just a letter no penalty or fine.
