Different address in Passport

Hi All

The address in my passport is the one from Delhi, where we(me with my family) used to stay when i was a student and applied for my passport.

Now I am in Bangalore for last 2.5 years and also my family has moved out from that Delhi address and is settled in Noida.

In VAF9 form I am giving my current address(rented along with 2 other friends), but my passport has a Delhi address where I dont know who is staying.

Can this be a problem.
Do I need to give any address proof for current address.

My passport had Mumbai address, i have been in Gurgaon for the last 5 years. I gave the current (Gurgaon) address along with landline numbers for any sort of verification they would need to do.

Besides nowhere in the Verification process do they mention about checking your residential address. Unless you have said a yes to the section in the form where details for criminal/terrorist/etc are asked.

You dont have to give any proof for you place of stay. Just put them down on the form ...
