Different kinds of Masters Degrees

Post by c1mth0g » Mon Mar 29, 2010 3:34 pm

There used to be three kinds of Masters degrees (Research, Taught, Taught with further specialisation from a Bacherlor's degree). But I don't see this anymore one the UKBA's point-based calculator. Does anyone know if this is an actual change or is it a glitch in the system?

does that differ in the points as well? or all of them equal to the same points?

I had called the HO for a similar question and they said that Masters in the self assessment calculator refers to all kinds of Masters..

It used to. Taught masters were equivalent to UK Bachelors (30 pts); the other two were equivalent to UK Masters (35 pts).
