Different Passport Office for Parents & Child

Different Passport Office for Parents & Child

Hello,
We are applying for our first British Passport.
Submitted the application online for us (me & wife) + Child.
Emails from Passport Office asked our documentation to be sent to different addresses.
For me & Wife - Bootle office, Liverpool
For child - 101 Old Hall Street, Liverpool

Firstly curious, as to why that may be the case.
Secondly, when reading up on this link https://www.ukpassportservices.co.uk/li ... rt-office/ - it says the 101 Old Hall Street office is for passport interviews only & will not process passport application.

And co-incidence as it may be, we sent the applications by Special delivery - and Post Office tracking confirms delivery/receipt of our (wife & I) application at the Bootle office - but not (yet) at the 101 Old Hall St. address.

Am I unnecessarily being paranoid?

Yep, you're overthinking it. 5 of you can apply and they send you all to 5 different HMPO. Also different HMPO's have different processing times. This isn't uncommon, in fact it almost feels like the norm.
It probably has to do with workload or staffing. No one can tell you for sure.

Just relax, it's all fine.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
