difficult to renew student visa after a failed ILR?

i read that it would be difficult to do so in some threads. anyone had experience if this is true?

Could be hard to demonstrate an intention to go home after your studies, if that's a requirement.

yeah that's what i read. but has anyone actually got rejected for visa extention after a failed ILR? If he has not finished his course and is wanting to extend , i dont see the reason why.

On the opposite note, if someone still has leave to remain but wanting to quit studying after a failed ILR, does this mean he will be given an appeal?
