Disappointed by SAR

Post by global gypsy » Mon Mar 23, 2009 9:49 pm

Based on advice I received on this forum,
( http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 237#227237 )
I sent in my application for a SAR report. I just recd the SAR from Home Office, and I am totally disappointed. Let me explain:
I came to the UK on a WP in 2004
Later I switched to HSMP, which I renewed in 2008.
Along with my letter to HO, I provided copies of my HSMP renewal letter and residence permit from passport, as proofs of identity.
All that I received back from HO was a copy of my initial HSMP application! Nothing else. Not the in/out dates details as I had expected (which was the main reason for my SAR request).

What can I do? It's quite frustrating having to deal with this level of (non-)service.

And should I be worried they didn't even include my WP details?

What a waste of £10 and time/effort!

Hmm, no responses so far...
Does this mean that those who have applied for SAR have received satisfactory responses?
IF yes, can you please post the level of detail you were provided in the SAR.
I just want to make sure mine is not an exceptional case.
Thanks.

If you think they did a bad job
then write back and tell them what you are looking for
I did and they did it over and it was much better

Hi Republique,

I applied for SAR too and awaiting reply from HO at the moment.
Did you received all the in-out, WP applied, wp granted, duration etc information in SAR?
