Discretion

Post by Saam127 » Sun Feb 14, 2021 5:53 am

Hi,
I got ILR June 2020, I ll eligible to apply for Naturalisation June 2021, I have 2 Dependants my wife and 6 years old son(born abroad) they completed 5 years this month, and my daughter got British passport last month, she was born here. My solicitor suggest me that I have to apply ILR for my wife when she will get ILR than I & wife & My son (will not have ILR) will apply for naturalisation, My son application will apply on Discretion he is Autistic (to save £2.5k).

My question is
My son application can b approved on the discretion basis?

See also Child’s immigration status. Risky? Let us know the outcome.

Note that wife has to hold ILR for at least one year, unless you are a British citizen.
