Discretionary leave to remain

Hi every one i would like to know like i have discetionary leave to remain for 3 years which is finishing in october 2012 so i would like to know when i can aplly for extension i mean how many months maximum and minimum month required to apply and how long is the process time and whats the fees now for it thanks

Were you granted discretionary leave following the refusal of an asylum claim?

no i did not apply any asylum i just applied on the base because i have family here means my wife and my 2 kids and they are britsih on this base i got leave to remain

As it stands currently you would need to complete form FLR(O) and pay a fee of £550 however the fee and the form are likely to change by the time you apply next year.

I don't think it's worth commenting on how long the application might take as your application is a year away.

You should apply within the 28 days before your current leave is due to expire.
