Divorce after ILR - as dependant

Hey everyone,

I have a friend who is having a very difficult time with her husband but does not want to undergo divorce proceedings until after she has obtained ILR.. this is not a "marriage of convenience".. they are just going through difficult times and it is not looking as though they will resolve their situation..

Things is, she is a dependant of her husband who is going to be applying for his own ILR next year, with her as his dependant ('Set O' form perhaps??)

My question is can a person who got ILR as a dependant through there spouse, then get divorced swiftly after without having their ILR revoked??

Would she be at risk of being deported if they got divorced pretty quickly after the ILR? Or even worse, is her ILR dependant on her staying married?!!? i.e. if she gets divorced, her ILR is automatically revoked??
