Divorce certificate from country where I’m not a citizen

Hi there, would really appreciate any help!

My husband and I are applying for a spousal visa from abroad (not from UK).

I was previously married (and divorced) years ago in the USA. I’m not a US citizen (and I’m not applying from the US) for the spousal visa. I did use to live there many years ago.

In my application, do I need to submit my US divorce certificate for proof of dissolution of previous marriage? Obviously I will also submit my current marriage certificate from the country I am applying from. Is there anything else I need to submit?

It does not matter where the divorce certificate is from. Relevant is that this evidence of dissolution of previous marriage and dated before you entered into a new marriage contract.
