divorce certificate

Hi,

Iam applying for work permit under points based system. I want to know what kind of evidence or form of certificate and from whom this divorce certificate should be taken ?

Just an affidavit from a lawyer is sufficient ?

My wife was indian and i have never travelled to UK earlier. If in future if i get married what will be procedure for the same ?
