I will be applying for a Tier 1 Visa in July. I had a few queries about the application and the supporting evidence.
1. I currently live and work in India. I understand that I need to show a balance of GBP 2800 for the last 3 months. Can this balance be shown in the form of fixed deposits in Indian Rupees? What supporting evidence will be required if FDs are acceptable for this purpose?
2. My earnings for the past 12 months have been Rs. 4,75,000/-approximately. I have got my 12 months payslips and the offer letter which states my gross earnings. Will these documents be acceptable as evidence for earnings? Who can attest these documents besides my employer? as I do not wish to let my employer know that I am considering opportunities outside.
3. My wife will accompany me in the United Kingdom. Can I make her application after a decision has been made on my application? Or I have to apply for her at the same time?
4. Who can attest the other documents I submit as documentary evidence?
Please could you help me with the answers to these questions.

A simple search on the forum would have answered your query. http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=53751

Evidence should be from two different sources. Read the policy guidance and you will know all the documents accepted. Only employer can attest your payslips. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... idance.pdf
3. My wife will accompany me in the United Kingdom. Can I make her application after a decision has been made on my application? Or I have to apply for her at the same time?
Either is fine
4. Who can attest the other documents I submit as documentary evidence?
Read the policy guidance
Please could you help me with the answers to these questions.

Are you sure that with 4.75 you score enough points in the attribute section ??? Also tell the employer that you are applying for loan in Bank and hence you need the last 1.5 years payslips for their review
3. My wife will accompany me in the United Kingdom. Can I make her application after a decision has been made on my application? Or I have to apply for her at the same time?
my personal opinion - Maintain funds for ur wife now... And once yours is approved have her forms ready. Once you reach UK, you can probably apply for her. Within the time (probably 1-2 months) her VISA is approved and she gets her tickets to UK, you could have probably have a work there
4. Who can attest the other documents I submit as documentary evidence?
Authorised Signatory
(IF IT IS BANK, THEN somebody from bank should sign the letter and if is from employer then somebody from HR may sign)
