Documents different in 2nd attempt at HSMP than first

Post by hsmp_distressed » Tue Jul 31, 2007 5:41 pm

Hello Everyone,
My 2nd attempt at HSMP is kind of stalled right now, case worker sitting on the file for 2 weeks+ now. I have this basic question for you all: should the evidence presented in the 2nd attempt be the same as in the 1st attempt and more or could it be reasonably different?

In my first attempt, I had claimed earnings between Jan-Dec06 while in the 2nd attempt I have claimed from Apr06-Mar07. The salary certificates are obviously same for the overlapping period, i.e. Apr06-Dec06. The reason I did not get approval first time was that the case worker was unable to understand the salary credits to my bank a/c and I had not submitted employer letter. This time round I have rectified the issue but to make my case stronger, provided the income tax return for the full period and so chose the Apr06-Mar07 timeframe (financial year in India) instead of Jan-Dec06.

Does this sound fine or any issues?

It's a new application, you are claiming for a different time period, so they should consider it afresh.
