Post by Capri » Wed Feb 06, 2019 3:12 pm

Respected gurus and members,
I am going to apply for ILR in May/June this year, my question are regarding dependent documents which I have to submit with my application,
1) My daughter is 19 now, will she need to apply separately?
2) what documents she will need?
3) My son is 16 now, will he need to apply separately?
4) what documents she will need?
5) younger daughter is 14 now, please guide me for her also?
6) My husband needs bills , bank statement and driving licence, am I right or need something else?
Need your valuable comments, thanks in advance

Ti Ent initial visa date of issue: 29-04-2014 valid till: 28-04-2017 (for all)
than
we all submitted application for T1 Ent Extension on 03-04-2017
T1 Ent Ext visa date of issue: 13-03-2018 valid until: 12-03-2020 ( for main and 3 dependents)
My older daughter was refused due to not submitted enough documents as she was 16 on time of application submission (as we were not aware on that time), we submitted new application she was granted visa,
Her T1 Ent Ext visa date of issue: 24-07-2018 valid till: 12-03-2020.

Hope this will help.

You all are eligible to apply for ILR on 29/4/2019 minus 28 days (given your older daughter’s second attempt was made in time) & given you fulfil all requirements of Tier 1 Ent for ILR.

You all will apply ILR via SET (O) online with the new system. You the main applicant can create
an account and then the form will let you add applicants (partners and chilren) in the same account. Although their application will be assessed on their own merit.

You also have an option to apply alone in April 2019 since your dependents have visa validity till March 2020. In this case if you are granted ILR you will have an option of applying for dependents via super priority 24 hours service also. This is a smarter way to save huge sums of money for application fees (God forbid if something goes wrong then you loose everyone’s fees). Just an option you may want to consider. Note: You as a main applicant can only opt for standard service.

For ILR: All 18+ applicants will need to fulfill Life in UK test and English Requirements.

Marcnath’s (moderator) ILR SET(O) sample application is pinned to the top of Tier 1 forum. Have a look for the documents in case of partner.

For children documents, I am not aware. Wait for someone else to confirm if you need any documents for children application as dependents.

You have an option to run a dummy application online also (takes 10 min) per applicant. It will give you a checklist of documents required also. But also, refer to Tier 1 guidance for surety.

I just checked the online form. It lets you add “dependet partner” and “dependent child” in the same account.
Your 19 year old daughter might have to apply separately (I am still not sure if by “dependent child” it means dependent on your visa or basically a child not an adult)
Someone else will confirm this also.

If I am not wrong, I think your 19 year old will have to choose “Tier 1 dependent” category while applying on SET(o) and the dependent minor children and dependent partner can be added to the same account as the main applicant.

Wait for confirmation.

I ran a dummy application for a child case(16 years. I assumed dummy year of birth Jan 2003). I got this check list. Ignore the nationality or dummy name(kama lama). It was only used to generate the check list.

The form asked about both parents details, and parental responsibility.
