Documents needed to show proof of funds

Dear all,

My sponsor has not certified that they will take care of maintenance on the CoS .
In order to provide proof of funds around 1250 £ , what documents do I need to provide if I am applying from India ?
Does Indian Bank statement is valid document ?

Most sponsors do guarantee maintenance. Your sponsor may have inadvertently put No instead of Yes in the tick box. This is easily corrected with a sponsor note - ask your sponsor

If you have to evidence maintenance funds the rules are:

You must have at least £1,270 in your bank account to show you can support yourself in the UK. You will need to have had the money available for at least 28 days in a row. Day 28 must be within 31 days of applying for this visa.

If you are applying from India Indian bank statements would be fine
