Documents required for Tier 2 General:
1. You should have an offer from your UK Employer.
2. Bachelors Degree
3. Certificate of Sponsorship issued by your Sponsor
4. Complete the Online Application https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/
5. Appendix 5 - Self Assessment form (you should score atleast 50 Points as Attributes; 10 Points for English language and 10 Points for Maintenance.
6. If you do not Qualify for points under English language, You will have to submit English Language test certificate from an authorized Test Center. List of test centers can be found on UKBA website.
7. Your 6 months Bank Statement.
8. Last 3 Years tax paid receipts.
9. Passport
10. Photos as per specification.
11. TB Test Certificate if you are from the Nationality that requires Medical Test to be made. Please refer UKBA website for more details.

These are the documents required for your entry clearance stamping. However you have not clarified whether your UK Employer has gone through the Residence Labor Market Test.

Your UK Employer should or should have gone through through the Residence Labor Market Test.

How it works:
1. Your Employer should advertise the position and salary offered at the local approved job sites (or as requested by the UKBA website)
2. The Advertisement should run for 28 days to see if there are any respondents to this position. (if he is not able to find any candidates from the interview). he should report to UKBA at the end of the advert period with all the details as to when the interview was done, why he did not find the candidate suitable. and report this back to UKBA while requesting the COS.
3. Request for COS.
4. Once you get the COS apply for entry clearance (with documents as shown above)

Hope this helps....... :)
