PR documents

Hi, I am applying online for the EEA Permanent Residence, I am EU national.

I have P60s for 4 years and a P45 for one year during which I only worked 11 months after one month during which I was looking for work. For this year I am therefore applying as a qualified person on the basis of being both a worker and a job seeker.

The online form states that if we provide either P60 or P45, no other residence evidence is required. The guidance notes also say that this is the case for periods of employment as long as evidence of work is provided. Is this only for P60 or also valid for P45? P45 represents a weak evidence (if no P60, then pay slips or letter of employment are preferred to P45). So why does the online form only asks whether we can provide either P60 or P45, thus considering them equally? I only have a p45, do I still need to also provide pay slips as proof of work and in addition, utility bills as proof of residence too for those 11 months as a worker, or will the P45 be sufficient to cover both residence and activity requirements for this period?

For the period of one month during which I was a job seeker, the guidance mentions to provide at least 2 pieces of evidence of activity which should cover the period looking for work as I was not registered at the job centre or other agency. I only have one proof (a job offer letter). I do not possess any evidence of the job application and if I recall correctly I was invited to the interview by phone so the job letter following the interview/application is the only evidence I can provide. Is this sufficient or will my application be rejected if I don't show the 2 pieces of evidence required?

Thank you for your help

I have submitted the online application and the checklist for document they ask to provide does not make any reference to P45.
It says: Evidence of employment, such as employer's letter, wage slips, bank statements showing wages or P60s.
Can I still just provide a P45 instead? (and if so, will I need a proof of residence too as well as activity).

Also, I was asked to make an appointment with UKVCAS to scan the documents. I am unsure about the 10days limit period. There is no slot available in my area for 2 weeks, will this be too late, should I try to find another place to go for the appointment before?

Will my application not be treated until the appointment date? In which case it would have been faster to send it by post.

What exactly happens at the appointment centre, my understanding is that they check that the supporting documents I pre-uploaded are authentic. Does it mean that they will return to me all the originals of my documents and so I should not expect to recieve them back later by post?

Thanks
