Does Home Office check DUI convictions in other countries?

Hi,

I have applied for my ILR via Tier 2 General route and still waiting for decision.

I have had a DUI conviction 15-20yrs ago when I was living abroad before coming to the UK.

I have not added this on my ILR application. Will Home Office check this with the police in that country and will it affect my ILR application.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very unlikely unless you declared it
