Does homeoffice record phone inquiries??

Post by zeezee28 » Tue Dec 07, 2010 5:06 pm

Hello,

I wanted to know If I called the homeoffice regarding my visa status or sending additional documents, do they make a record of the call or leave anote on the applicants file that an inquiry was made?

Thanks

I can't give a 100% sure answer to this, but I suspect that if you just phoned a general enquiry number they might not make a record of your call. If you spoke to a caseworker, or asked for some action to be taken on your case, an entry would almost certainly be made on the database.
