Does my Sponsor need to inform UKBA about my leave?

Dear Gurus,
Currently im in tier-2 visa from last 6 months and i have visa until more 2 years and 6 months. My question is

1. when i take any sick or normal leave (from 1 day to max 2 weeks), is it required that my Sponsor need to inform UKBA about my leave in sponsorship management system?

2. If I go for long holiday (18 days) leave to visit my home country, on that time does my sponsor have to inform UKBA about my leave?

Im in confusion as i could not find any proper guide line about this.
