Hi everyone,
I have just joined and have a query I am hoping someone knows the answer to.
We recently advertised for a job where the only applicant that fulfilled the criteria was a non-EU citizen.
We managed to get a Tier 2 CoS for them but unfortunately, during their application they only provided the photocopy of their Degree rather than the original and so were turned down.
Their appeal was also turned down upon presenting the original as it was considered post application and they could only view the original documentation which seems petty and cruel.
We understand that to apply again we would have to get a new CoS as this one has already been used in the last application.
Would we have to re-do the RLMT or could we apply for the CoS without this, explaining instead that it is for the same person as the last CoS and including the reason for them being turned down (essentially a technicality)?
Many thanks
MJ
