Hi all, I am a research student in the UK and I got a job offer in August 06, and have been granted a 5-year work permit from my employer in September 06, but I can't apply for the Leave to Remain Visa (FLR) without finishing my study.

Due to some problems occured in my research study, it's quite unlikely I can have my final examination by March 07. By that time, my work permit will be expired.

Anyone has experience like me? work permit expired, couldn't apply for Visa due to delay of graduation etc?

any advice would be appreciated.
