Due to IAS closure - alternative help

We have an ongoing case with IAS and were waiting for paperwork to put in a fresh claim.... I found out the other day they are in administration.... is there somewhere else we can go for help? Ive been on the IAS page and found the address to write to for our case paperwork but have googled and googled and cant seem to find anywhere that could help us. Thank you

Sorry if this has been asked already, i have had a good look but cant see similar anywhere.

edit: our case for asylum has been refused and our case worker at IAS was putting in a fresh claim due to us being married last year. I have found a couple of places that help with asylum cases but we wont qualify for those

where do you live?

what do you mean that you have found some places who will help with asylum issues but you won't qualify for those? legal aid solicitors who advise on asylum will also advise on immigration matters.

hi greenie, I'm in yorkshire. I rang a couple of places I found online but they only deal with asylum cases, the asylum claims we have put in have been refused and IAS were putting in a new claim with regards to us being married, the places I spoke to said they dont help with that and I would need a family solicitor (ive phoned a few family solicitors who say they don't deal with immigration matters.... I feel like I'm going round in circles ... )

i think they have misunderstood you if they think you need a family solicitor in order to make an application to remain in the UK.

There are a few law centres in yorkshire who have a legal aid contract for immigration matters but i am not sure where in yorkshire you are to tell you the closest to you.
