Dutch Passport | EU card for UK citizen dutch spouse

Post by maji12345 » Fri Dec 21, 2018 12:24 am

Hello there,

I am a UK citizen and my wife is a dutch citizen, we are married for over 3 years now and we live in the UK.

Is there any visa categories that I can get a Dutch/EU permanent permit or passport?

Currently through EU law I have access to EU but no body knows after brexit.

Please advice,
thanks!

3 Years? Excellent. You can become Dutch by naturalisation.

There are exceptions to the 5 year rule (inc. having lived together with Dutch spouse abroad for 3 years):

Thanks, I’ve called them and they said because I’m British and we are living in the UK, it’s not possible.
