Earliest Date to Apply ILR skilled worker visa

Hi

I am on Tier-2 General Visa from 3 December 2020 to 30th October 2025. I am short of 33 days for my 5 years aniversaary on Tier2 general visa. Prior to that I was on Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer dependent for 1 year from 2019 untill december 2020.



Can I make an application to ILR from 30th of October 2025 under 5year route of tier 2?

Yes. You will be eligible for ILR within 28 days of completing your 5 years.

Although my visa got stamped on 3rd of December 2020, I entered UK on 22nd of December 2020, expires on 30th October 2025.

1. Can application for ILR be made 33 days before short for 5 years anniversary?

2. Is the date of stamping or the entry date to UK considered for ILR eligibility?

3. Is it ok to apply for ILR just one day before my visa expire on 30th of October 2025 and go for biometrics on 1st week of Decmeber?
