Earliest ILR application date and biometrics date

Hello,

I have been in the UK on a skilled worker visa (start date 09-06-2021 mentioned on the BRP). My wife's skilled worker dependent visa also started from the same date. Based on what I have read online the qualifying period for ILR will be completed on 12-05-2026. Does that mean that we need to make our ILR applications on or after 12-05-2026? Or does the biometrics/decision need to be after 12-05-2026?

We made the mistake of submitting our ILR applications on 11-05-2026 (one day before the qualifying period is completed) and have booked a biometric appointment for 14-05-2026 (a couple of days after the qualifying period is completed).

Is this going to be fine? Or will our ILR application be rejected? Urgent advice on this will be really appreciated.
