earning period

hi i am aplying for tier1 visa in oct
i am bit confuse about earning period
i want to claim earnings from 10th oct 2009 to 5th oct 2010

my 10th oct 2009 pay was from sep 20th 2009 to 4th oct 2009 which is
credited Oct 10
so is this ok to claim earnings from 10th oct 2009 to 5th oct 2010
