ECNR query

Hi All,

I have a query regarding ECNR. My wife got her passport chanaged after marriage and now has old and new passport. I am already in UK on tier1 and she has got her dependant visa as well now.

Normally in indian passports, we have the second page of passport where ECNR is ticked.

My wife's old passport has this section and ticked as well but new passport doesn't have that section at all on the second page. So is it like for ECNR first passport will be referred or it's a mistake by Ghaziabad passport authority that nothing is printed on second page.

Just wanted to have clarity around this. Thanks Guys

if it is not in passport can not be ticked so I would not worry
