EEA Application for Non EU

Hi Everyone,

I have a 5 year residence card in my passport expiring Feb 2016. Do you think I could apply for my Permanent residence say Feb 2015? I am thinking given the time delays by the HO applying early might be a good idea. My only worry though is if I were to send off my application early would it be rejected on grounds that I have not yet spent 5 years? Overall I have been in the UK for 7 years now and been married to my EEA wife for 5 years.
