Hi everybody.
As i am getting more and more confused regarding documentation about EEA FP, i would really appreciate if anyone can answer my question being completely sure about the answer, or has had personal experience with this situation.
So, i got married to a Spanish national who, since January lives and works in the UK. We are now getting all the documentation required as read on the UKBA webpage and the guidance for the application. There is stated, as a proof of the EEA nationals identity, to be submitted copy of the bio pages of his passport or ID. But, nowhere it says if it needs to be certified or not.
As i read on some websites regarding immigration, and some forums, a lot of people state that it needs to be certified. As well, a lot of people confirm that they contacted UKBA and are quite sure they don't require the copy to be certified.
I think this is of vital importance, and i cannot understand (if true - it needs to be certified) why it is not stated as such in the guidance or somewhere relevant?
Greetngs,
M
