I’ve been in London for two years on a working holiday visa. I’m returning to South Africa soon to marry my Hungarian fiancé. She’s been in the UK for 4 years and has a Registration Certificate.
We want to live in the UK for a couple more years. In order to return to the UK I gather the first thing I’ll need to do is apply for a EEA Family Permit using form VAF1.
My question is what sort of backing evidence do I need to provide when making my application?
So far I have:
1. A letter from my fiancé’s employer confirming her employment there.
2. Certified copies of my fiancé’s passport and Registration Certificate.
3. Bank statements (hers and mine).
4. Payslips (hers).
5. I’ve been a long term temp at a well known charity and have a letter confirming that the job is open to me upon my return with a view to making it permanent.
6. A copy of our tenancy agreement.
7. A letter from my fiancé explaining our situation.
8. Other evidence of our relationship (photo’s, ring receipt, wedding invitation etc etc).
9. I’ll have the wedding certificate when I make the application.
Will this suffice? Is this overkill? Anything else I should provide (or leave out)?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Ryan
