hello everybody...

am a non eea citizen , im in the uk on EEA FP which expires on december 2011, am currently not working, my wife who is an EEA citizen works full time since she came here 6 months ago.

on my EEA family permit immigration officer stamped "public funds prohibited", for that my wife refuses to claim housing benefits stating that it will affect my legal situation in the uk then i cant apply for EEA 2.

can sombody exlpain me which kind of benefits EEA citizens and their family members are prohibited from?

am i only prohibited from public funds?or my wife also?
